ADVISORY FOR PRIZE CONTESTS AND OPERATIONS

IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 13 of Legislative Decree No 196/2003  

 

We would like to inform visitors to the website www.regina.eu/it that Legislative Decree No 196 of 30 June 2003, known as thePersonal data protection coderequires the protection of persons and other entities with regard to the processing ofpersonal data.

According to the above code, suchprocessingmust be governed by the principles of accuracy, transparency, relevance, proportionality and lawfulness and the protection of fundamental rights and freedoms.

Therefore in accordance with Section 13 of Legislative Decree No 196/2003, we provide you with the following information:  

 

  Purposes and methods of processing

- Thepersonal dataconcerning you acquired by this Company as part of those of its operations involving prizes, will beprocessedin order to provide the service authorised by you on the postcard. In this case there are two forms of processing involved:

  1. Prize contests

  2. Sending of marketing information

- The data will beprocessedin written form and/or using magnetic recording, electronic or telecommunications equipment by staff authorised to operate asData processorsby Soffass S.p.A and by the company responsible for the administrative management of operations involving prizes. Theprocessingof data by the aforementioned companies will be carried out in a manner which guarantees maximum security and confidentiality of the data.

 

 Nature of authorisation for data use and consequences of refusal

Type 1 processing - Prize contests

- Granting of authorisation to process the data is optional, however any refusal will mean the individual concerned is unable to take part in the prize contest.

Type 2 processing - Sending of marketing information 

- Granting of authorisation to process the data is optional, but refusal will deny permission to send marketing information.

 

Area of communication and disclosure

Type 1 processing - Prize contests

- For this type of processing, the data may be communicated within Italy and abroad to other companies, such as:

- other Companies in the Sofidel Group;

- logistics companies (for the dispatch of prizes);

- It should be noted, moreover, that yourpersonal datawill not be subject todisclosure(distributed).

- The aforesaid data will beprocessedfor the entire duration of the competition and then immediately deleted by Soffass S.p.A and the companies involved in logistics.


 

Type 2 processing - Sending of marketing information

- For this type of processing, the data may be communicated within Italy and abroad to other companies, such as:

- other Companies in the Sofidel Group;

- It should be noted, moreover, that yourpersonal datawill not be subject todisclosure(distributed).

- The aforesaid data will beprocessedfor the entire period up to the point at which the subject involved makes a request to Soffass S.p.A for their deletion.

 

 Rights of the subject involved

- For the data in question you may exercise the rights pursuant to Section 7 of Legislative Decree No 196 of 30/06/03, using the following contact information the address below: 0583.2681, or by e-mail to soffass.privacy@sofidel.it or by normal post to: Soffass Servizio ConsumatoriVia Fossanuova, 5955016 Porcari (LU).

TheData Controller for the processingis Soffass S.p.a. in the person of its pro-tempore Administrator.

 - The rights which the subject involved may exercise under Section 7 of the aforesaid decree are indicated below.

 

 Section 7 - RIGHT TO ACCESS PERSONAL DATA AND OTHER RIGHTS

 1) The subject involved shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him exist, regardless of their already being recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.

2) The subject involved shall have the right to obtain details:

a) of the source of the personal data;

b) of the purposes and methods of processing;

c) of the logic applied to the processing, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;

d) of the identification data concerning the data controller, data processors and the representative designated pursuant to Section 5(2);

e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom or which the personal data may be communicated and who or which may become aware of said data in their capacity as designated representative(s) in the States territory,Data Processor(s)andPerson(s) in charge of the processing.

3) The subject involved shall have the right to obtain details:

a) on updating, rectification or, where interested therein, integration of the data;

b) on erasure, making anonymous or blocking of data that has been processed unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which it has been collected or subsequently processed;

c) certification to the effect that the operations pursuant to letters a) and b) have been notified, as also related to their contents, to the entities to whom or which the data was communicated or disclosed, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared with the right that is to be protected.

4) The subject involved shall have the right to object, in whole or in part:

a) on legitimate grounds to theprocessingofpersonal dataconcerning him/her, even though they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;

b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling or else for the performance of market or commercial communication surveys.
